Mindfulness is a mental practice that trains us to focus our mind on our experiences in the present moment, non-judgmentally.
Practicing mindfulness can lead to a fuller, relaxed, and more connected life, while, at the same time, improving our ability to face daily challenges and reducing the stress caused by them by increasing our resilience and general well-being.


Community Mindfulness
Meditation Practice

I am the founder and facilitator of the group meditation program in the Community Center of Key Biscayne, and facilitator of the Blue Ocean Sangha in Miami Beach .

Both programs offer a weekly meeting space to share and develop collective meditation practices. Our community practice generates a collective energy of mindfulness, while developing a spiritual vision,  and embracing guidelines for a global non-discriminatory ethics.

We get together once a week, and perform a routine that includes Guided Meditation, Walking Meditation, Silent Meditation, and a Reading of a teaching followed by a Reflection. We practice compassionate communication based on loving speech and deep listening. The benefits of the practice increase with frequent attendance and a solid commitment to the group. Our practice is compatible with any previous meditation experience, as well as newcomers, and is also compatible with any ideology, religion, or spiritual path.

Private Mindfulness Meditation Training

Cecilia offers mindfulness classes and training for individuals, children, teens, and families, in their homes within the Key Biscayne area. Integrating Mindfulness practices into the family environment results in more harmonious family dynamics, healthier relationships, and a more balanced life and development of each family member.

Retreats and Day of Mindfulness

I organize and coordinate Mindfulness Retreats, Days of Mindfulness to groups of practitioners. We gather in private venues and nature retreat centers to enhance our regular practice through the incorporation of extended and immersive mindfulness disciplines. We eat together healthy nourishing foods in silence to practice mindful eating. We explore transformational teachings and we share our personal experiences through the practice of deep listening and compassionate communication. We practice mindful walking while deeply connecting with the healing power of mother nature.
